Mr. Bolton has over 20 years of managed care experience and has served as sales and marketing executive and a member of senior management for a number of health care entities. He has been responsible for a number of strategic sales, marketing, and product development initiatives and specializes in rebuilding sales and marketing organizations. As the executive vice president of Sales at provider-sponsored health plans, he has redesigned compensation plans, underwriting guidelines and sales objectives to improve profitability and target marketing goals.
As part of the executive team of these plans, Mr. Bolton has led strategic planning and plan implementation efforts and directed marketing and advertising efforts. Mr. Bolton served as CEO of a provider-owned Medicaid HMO and CMO of a specialty health plan. Prior to joining provider owned plans, he was the senior vice president of Aetna Health Plans for both regional and national sales and service markets. He dramatically expanded Aetna’s national small business market into a division that contributed 18% of the company’s profits. Mr. Bolton received a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration with a major in Insurance from Memphis State University. |
